This weekend kicks off the annual tradition of the Advent Calendar. The gifting countdown dates back so far in history; we don’t have a date of the original Advent. The variety of Advent calendars range from candy themed, ornaments for your tree, and even a wine calendar.
We love this tradition for a couple of reasons.
1. It highlights what the season is all about – Giving!
2. It reminds us that the size of the gift is irrelevant.
If you don’t have an Advent Calendar this season, try making a homemade one. Get creative, even if it’s less than 25 days of opening. Your Advent can be ten days or five days. Your Advent can also have beauty products.
