“Ugh. I really don’t want to get ready for bed.” – me after a long day and just wanting to go to sleep.
Who all here knows the struggle of not wanting to wash their face and put on all their serums after a long stressful day? I know for me I sometimes dread doing all the steps of my nighttime skin care routine, but unfortunately it’s necessary, why? Because I’ll thank myself in the morning when I don’t have a huge zit on my face.
Consistency is key when it comes to great skin. I know how it feels when you’ve been using the same products for 3 weeks now and your skin still looks the same, but please trust your aesthetician and continue using the products.
I can’t tell you how many time I would go to Jorge complaining on how my skin wasn’t getting any better and every time he would tell me “give it the full 6 weeks, you’ll see a difference.” Finally, after 6 weeks I started to see a change, I wasn’t developing as much new acne and some old pesky acne was starting to go away. My skin isn’t perfect, and I know it will take time to get to that level but sure enough I trust that it will.
All I ask of everyone is to 1. ALWAYS take their makeup off at night and use all the products that are recommended to them and 2. Give your skin time to regenerate new skin cells. If you want beautiful skin it is going to take some time. I cannot stress enough how important it is to let your skin breathe at night and soak in whatever products you are using.
