How to choose your Alcohol wisely!

As we are getting more into the new year some people may still be trying to eat and stay healthy. That is great! Now that summer is approaching what do you do about all the parties coming up? Or as the weather is getting warmer I’m sure your friends are asking you to go out for a drink…A lot of times people want to stay healthy and not drink or at least not drink as much…so what kind of drinks can you drink that won’t ruin your healthy lifestyle? There are the obvious solutions:

  • Drink liquor with water or soda like vodka soda or whiskey water
  • A glass of red or white wine
  • A light beer instead of an IPA
  • Bloody Mary (not those monstrous ones that have all the “good” stuff, lol)

Now I know these options may not sound good, especially if you are use to drinking something else, but if you are serious about wanting to change your lifestyle to a healthier one it will become easier over time. The less you have the less you crave it!

I wanted to share a Sangria recipe that I found on Pinterest awhile back that I love.
