The leaves are changing, so should your skincare routine!
The skin tends to be oily in the summer, and dry in the winter. Adding more moisture to your skincare regimen in the fall, can keep skin hydrated and glowing. Look for products that contain hyaluronic acid
Alexis’s Recommendation: Hyalis by Neocutis
Moving into fall rid your skin of those summer mistakes! Schedule monthly microdermabrasion treatments or chemical peels to exfoliate that dead, dull skin, and assist in better product penetration. Add in a good exfoliating product a couple times a week.
Alexis’s recommendation: Environ’s Pumpkin enzyme scrub
Now that you’re less likely to be having sun exposure going into fall you might want to think about getting an IPL to help erase those sun spots. Add in a good lightening topical to your daily routine (Environ: Clarifying Lotion).
Make sure you don’t cut SPF out of your routine! The sun’s rays still cause damage in the winter months, but you may not have to reapply as frequently.
Alexis’s Recommendation: Elta MD’s tinted daily SPF
We often pay more attention to the skin on our face and forget about the rest of the body. Exfoliate so your moisturizing products can penetrate deeper. Now that you’ve exfoliated, add in a body oil to provide extra moisture. Pay extra attention to areas like the hands, elbows, knees, and feet! Consult your esthetician to make sure the products and procedures you’re getting are right for you.
Alexis’s Recommendation: Environ Dermalac Lotion & Environ A, C and E
